NRITYAM 2012 - SAMPRADAYA

Namaste. It gives me great pleasure to invite you once again to the 26th year celebration of our institute as we host our 9th annual performing arts festival NRITYAM'12 on the 15th Dec 2012. at IES MANIK SABHAGRIHA, BANDRA RECLAMATION, MUMBAI. AT 6.30 PM

India is known for its spiritual and cultural heritage. The Indian civilization is regarded as one of the most unique in the world. This year the festival highlights the significant role of art and culture in our lives.  SAMPRADAYA reflects on how inheriting a rich and  ancient cultural legacy is a special blessing.  This beautiful artistic legacy that has survived from generations to generations is a value - system that keeps us rooted to our traditions.

Initiating a child into the fine-art discipline is a Gift of a Lifetime  for it opens a world of beauty, creativity, positivity and joy . As it transforms the personality into a more sensitive, cultured and centered being, the world becomes a much more better place.

 The arts then become  a powerful instrument of social change that 'touch and transform lives'.  We continue to extend our support to one veteran guru who has served the art for over 50 years . It is the least we can do to express our appreciation and gratitude to these great masters who have dedicated their entire lives just to keep our traditions alive.

NRITYAM is one of the most awaited events hosted by the institute which offers students an invaluable  experience of  ' performing on stage ' in front of an esteemed audience. It is also a rare  opportunity for students to witness veteran artistes invited to the festival and other dance styles.  For  our guests it is an opportunity to get an insight into the work and vision of the institute. In all, it's an event that cannot be  missed !!
